Rimouski Courthouse
As part of the expansion and redevelopment of the Courthouse in Rimouski, GKM Consultants conducted a preliminary inspection of the surrounding buildings and carried out a vibration monitoring program. Two SVi Series seismographs equipped with cellular modems, one installed in Telus' server room and the other one mobile, were used. These systems continuously measure vibrations and send alerts by email when thresholds are exceeded and daily summary reports. They have enabled the contractor Sintra to validate in real time the compliance with the vibration limits.
